Song in my head

Hello, all!

Who’s up for a very quick and random survey?

Ramble of the Day

I’ll cut to the chase: What song is stuck in your head right now (if there is one at all)?

I’d saved this question for a day where I figured enough of you might answer with your own songs, but I also predicted that I’d have some random jingle from a commercial stuck in my head as I got started. Turns out, I’ve had a real song stuck in my head all day, and it’s Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.” In particular, the clip in my head stars at “this boy’s too young to be singing the blues,” and lets Elton go on until he finishes the chorus. Eventually, my mind resets and the boy’s too young to be singing the blues once again.

Maybe if you share yours, I’ll listen, and I’ll get that stuck in my head, too. It’s pretty easy for my brain to remember songs; it took one watch of that Son Heung-min ice cream commercial to get the tune of that in my head. In fact, all I had to do was remember it while I was Googling it so I could drop the link in this paragraph for a commercial tune to kick Elton John out of my head. I didn’t even have the sound on to watch it, and I actually didn’t even watch it today, but the song’s there now.

tl;dr: Tell me what song’s stuck in your head. I might listen to it!
