After months of speculation, Tottenham Hotspur’s 2019-20 third kits have been formally launched by the club, and they are exactly what everyone thought they would be.
Introducing our third kit for 2019/20!

The third kits are “highlighter blue,” a color not seen since the 2013-14 season away shirts, and feature a subtle pattern on the shirt that evokes the architecture of the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and also St. George’s Cross. Similar to other clubs with the same manufacturer, the third kits have the retro Nike swoosh and a button collar.
Frankly, I quite like them, but it really comes down to how much you like the day-glo blue color. I loved the change kits in 2013-14 so this one pushes all the right buttons for me. But, obviously, people have different opinions.
Between the white homes and the dark blue aways I’m not sure how often Spurs will get to wear these thirds. It could be that they’ll mostly be used as away kits in the Champions League, the way the teal thirds were last season. That’ll make them special. Hopefully they’ll grow to become iconic the way last year’s were.
The kits will be available for purchase in the Spurs Store starting tomorrow.
