Done Deal: Jack Clarke loaned to QPR through season’s end

As expected! Hopefully he plays.

It’s done! As expected, one of the newest Tottenham Hotspur signings is heading back out on loan. The club announced today that Jack Clarke is heading to QPR in the Championship until the end of the season.

At QPR he’ll be joining fellow Spurs loanee Luke Amos, and will be competing for minutes with Spurs target Eberechi Eze, who Spurs may make a move for in the summer. He’ll play under Mark Warburton, a solid Championship manager with whom Spurs have a good working relationship and who has gotten good results with clubs like Rangers and Brentford.

Mostly, I just hope Clarke has a better time at Loftus Road than he did in his loan at his original club, Leeds. Spurs signed him because of his potential, but it’s hard to fulfill your potential when you’re stuck on the bench not getting game time. With luck and some effort, he will hopefully get first team minutes at QPR.

Good luck, Jack!
