It appears as though Tottenham Hotspur have another outgoing transfer that has gone through today as well, though we may not get anything official from the club about it. According to Twitter account @Lilywhite_rose, academy graduate and central midfielder Paris Maghoma has joined Championship side Brentford F.C. on a permanent transfer.

There hasn’t been any official announcement about this signing either from Tottenham or Brentford, and there may not be one. Spurs have, in the past, been hesitant to make official announcements about players coming out of the academy or who are in the developmental squads. Paris, 18, has been playing with the U23s this season, but according to Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports, he’s joining the Bees as part of their developmental setup and not as a member of the first team.
Seen this pic flying around. To clarify, Paris Maghoma joining #Brentfordfc’s B team setup not first-team. #thfc https://t.co/RAXBq27ovC

Tottenham football is a family affair for the Maghoma family — Paris is the younger brother of Jacques Maghoma, a midfielder now with Birmingham City, and Christian Maghoma now at Polish club Arka Gdynia. But while all three Maghoma brothers went through Tottenham’s academy, none of them made their first team debut. This may be the end of the Maghoma “dynasty” at Spurs — unless someone else knows something I don’t think there are any younger siblings still in Spurs’ academy setup.
No financial details were disclosed about the transfer, but it probably wasn’t much.
UPDATE: We do get an official update! This just dropped on Tottenham’s official Twitter account.
We have reached agreement with @BrentfordFC for the transfer of Paris Maghoma.
