We have a breakthrough! Italian football journalist Nicola Schira is reporting that an agreement has been reached between Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan for the January full transfer of Christian Eriksen.
Done deal! Christian #Eriksen to #Inter from #Tottenham for €20M (bonuses included). He will sign a contract until 2024 with a wages of €10M. #transfers

Schira is a pretty solid name in Italian transfer circles, so this looks like you can take it to the bank. If it is accurate, the deal is for €20m which includes bonuses. We don’t know the full details or how it breaks down, but it’s obviously a lot closer to what Daniel Levy wanted for Eriksen this month than what Inter originally offered. That friggin’ bald ninja Jedi did it again.
What it means is that Eriksen has almost certainly played his last match in a Tottenham shirt. It also means that Spurs may now have actual funds to finance further moves in the transfer window. There are eight days left — let’s see what comes of it.
At any point, it sure looks like Eriksen is gone. More to come when we get further confirmations.
