MOAR TRANSFER NEWS ZOMG! Here’s the latest. On the heels of the official tweet announcing the loan of Danny Rose to Newcastle came another one for a promising Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate. 20-year old center back Timothy Eyoma is also heading out on loan for the remainder of the season, to League One Lincoln City.

You may recall that Eyoma was the young centerback that for a while was tipped to break into the first team ahead of Japhet Tanganga. My memory’s a little hazy on the details, but if I remember correctly he had some injury challenges at the beginning of this season, and Tanganga eventually jumped ahead of him in the pecking order.
He’s a solid talent, though, and sending him out to League One is a good idea. You may recall back in 2017 a then-non-league Lincoln City made it to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup where they lost to Arsenal. They’ve steadily moved up the divisions now and they’re currently 14th in the table.
Eyoma’s talented, and is at the stage where he needs minutes. He should get them with Lincoln. Hopefully he continues to improve and can maybe work his way into Jose Mourinho’s plans.
