It’s sure looking like the only thing Tottenham Hotspur fans have to look forward to for the rest of this transfer deadline day is the outgoing loans of a couple of fringe or youth players. And that’s the update we have for you right now! Spurs just posted on social media that academy grad and striker Kazaiah Sterling is heading back out on loan, this time to League 2 side Leyton Orient until the end of the season.

Best of luck, Kazaiah! #THFC ⚪️ #COYS pic.twitter.com/Ncr7ZZ38k7
Kaz spent the first half of the year in League One, but with Doncaster Rovers. Unfortunately it wasn’t the greatest of loans — Doncaster are sixth in the table and are pushing for a playoff spot, and Kaz only made three appearances, all at the beginning of the season. He was recalled in December.
This time he’s dropping down a division, but he’ll at least have a friend at his new club. Orient is 20th in League 2, and fellow academy grad George Marsh is already there on loan. It’s possible that Kaz just wasn’t ready for that level of professional football, so hopefully he can carve out a niche with the Mighty O’s and get some quality minutes under his belt.
Good luck, Kaz!
