All the best, Shilow! #THFC ⚪️ #COYS pic.twitter.com/e9iv0nUxB2
Shilow Tracey is 21 years old and a right-sided midfielder. Spurs signed him from Ebbsfleet United three years ago and he’s been in the development squad setup ever since. He’s been regularly starting in the U23s this season but I can’t honestly say that I’ve seen a whole lot about his performances. He’s not catching a whole lot of buzz like, say, Troy Parrott, Japhet Tanganga, or even George Marsh.
To my knowledge, this is Tracey’s first loan, and he’s heading to a League Two team in Macclesfield Town that has been in a state of turmoil this season, with a crisis over unpaid wages to its players. They’ve already had a six point deduction and could have another four taken away before too long. Just a couple of days ago three Silkmen players appealed to the Football League to have their contracts terminated so they can move to another club before the transfer window closes. It was once (but is not currently) managed by Sol Campbell.
Doesn’t sound like a great place to walk into as a young player, but hey, I’m just a soccer blogger.
Hope does well on LOAN LOAN LOAN LOAN LOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN
