OMG it’s (EFL) transfer deadline day and Spurs may have just slipped one in just over the line. According to a reporter from the Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur and Swansea have agreed a fee to sign Swansea central defender Joe Rodon.

At the time of this article posting, there are just a few minutes left before the window closes, but Spurs may get some extra time to actually complete the rule. So long as both clubs are able to get paperwork signed and submitted saying that they have agreed to the transfer (personal terms were described as “trivial” in earlier reporting) then they have additional time after the window to complete the medical and get everything signed, sealed and delivered.
No word yet on what the fee is, but I’d guess based on past reporting about the difference in valuation that it’s somewhere in the region of £12-15m. Not a done deal, but start warming up the fax machine because this one could get close.
