Per The Athletic’s David Ornstein and Charlie Eccleshare, Rodon signed a four year deal with the club, and that the transfer fee is £11 million with £4 million in add-ons. The move ends Spurs’ search for a center back during the transfer window, when the team was linked to Inter Milan’s Milan Škriniar and Beijing Guoan’s Kim Min-jae. He also adds depth to a center back group that includes Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, Davinson Sánchez, and Japhet Tanganga. He also joins international teammates Ben Davies and Gareth Bale at the club, who teased his arrival with a video minutes before the signing was announced.

Rodon’s signing means Spurs close the international and domestic transfer windows with seven signings in all, and he is the fourth of Spurs’ new signing that is 25 and under.
