Lads, it’s Tottenham. Spurs went into Old Trafford tired after playing an absolutely grueling schedule over the past three weeks, and managed to put together one of the biggest wins in recent years. Tottenham conceded a penalty, converted by Bruno Fernandes, inside 30 seconds, but instead of getting down they kicked it to another level. Spurs were up 2-1 after just seven minutes, and rolled to an emphatic 6-1 win over Manchester United in one of the most comprehensive thumpings of United they’ve ever had.
It was, he said banteriffically, Jose Mourinho’s best ever result at Old Trafford.
God, that was fun. Time to rate the players!
Rate the players from 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player doesn’t deserve a rating due to minutes played, DO NOT RANK. I will round the stars up/down to the nearest half-star for the player ratings later this week.
