There’s bad news for Tottenham Hotspur women. Central midfielder Chloe Peplow is out until December after injuring her ankle in the 4-0 FA Cup loss to Arsenal a couple of weeks ago. The injury required surgery.
Tottenham made the announcement on their official website and on social media channels.
Midfielder Chloe Peplow has undergone surgery to repair a fracture in her right foot, sustained during our Women’s FA Cup fixture against Arsenal.
Chloe is now undergoing a period of recovery before commencing rehabilitation with a view to returning to training in December.

It’s definitely a blow. Peplow wasn’t a regular starter this season, but she is absolutely a rotation option in central midfield with club captain Josie Green. Losing her until potentially January leaves Spurs that much thinner in the center of the pitch during a time when they could really use her.
Spurs Women defeated second division London City Lionesses 4-0 in the Continental Cup yesterday, but are in the middle of a brutal run of matches that includes matches against Manchester United, at Arsenal, at Chelsea, and vs. Reading. They have yet to score a goal in open play in the WSL.
