Well, I knew this would happen the moment I posted that Jose Mourinho Instagram article. According to multiple sources including football.london’s Alasdair Gold and The Athletic (£), today’s match between Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham has been POSTPONED due to positive COVID-19 tests within the Fulham organization.
I understand Spurs' match tonight against Fulham is off. Premier League decision and both clubs have been informed.

I would say this is the right call. With the new variant of the COVID-19 virus spreading like wildfire in the United Kingdom, it’s better to be safe than sorry. It does make me wonder whether this is a harbinger to the Premier League hitting pause on the season for a couple of weeks, but I doubt the league will make that kind of call unless a few other matches are also postponed for the same reason and they absolutely have to. This is, however, the second match to be postponed due to an outbreak at a club after the Manchester City vs. Everton match was also called off earlier in the week.
For Spurs, this decision means that they’ll need to reschedule this match for another date, probably mid-week sometime, in the midst of an already crowded and compressed campaign. However, it’s also a chance for players to get a little bit extra rest after playing basically two matches a week since forever.
Tottenham’s next scheduled match is an early match this Sat. January 2, 2021 against Leeds at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
