Kit leaks wait for no virus. While Tottenham Hotspur fans have seen mock-ups of what are going to be the home, third, and fourth (!) kits for the 2020-21 Premier League season, we’ve been waiting to get a glimpse of what the aways look like.
Previous links from Footy Headlines had shown the away kits to be in two different shades of green, but we hadn’t yet gotten a look at what the actual design is going to be. However, new photos have emerged on social media that gives not only a look at what the new home kits will look like in the wild, but also our first look at the aways.
They’re, uh, polarizing.

So, let’s pretend for a second that these away kits are real. It looks like both the home and away kits would have matching lightning bolt design elements down the sides, but that’s where the similarities end. The two tone greens would certainly match Footy Headlines’ previous leaks, but they sure as heck didn’t mention what looks like salmon-colored highlights. Thanks, Nike — I hate it!
It’s difficult to get a sense of what that would actually look like because the kits are placed on a green turf background. So maybe it’s not as bad as it appears at first glance. Another distinct possibility is that the away kits are fakes — Footy Headlines generally gets the scoop before anyone else and there’s no mention of this design on their site.
But if that’s real? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Let’s also spare a glance at the in-real-life home kits as well. They track Footy Headlines’ design exactly and the camo design looks pretty sharp. Still not a big fan of the two-tone shoulders, but honestly I could live with everything else.
What say you all?
