I realize that nobody wants to talk about it now but Tottenham Hotspur does have a match at Burnley on Saturday, and football doesn’t stop just because you’ve lost four consecutive matches. (Well, it might for COVID-19 but that’s a separate issue.)
Tottenham released its team news for the trip to Lancashire and while it’s pretty much what you’d expect, Hugo Lloris has returned to first team training and could be in line to start this weekend. So that’s good!

Also absent from the injury list is Steven Bergwijn who was subbed off in the FA Cup match against Norwich with what looked like a knock. The fact that he’s available is also good news.
It’s an open secret that Mourinho is going to rotate for one of either this match or next week’s Champions League match at Leipzig. Nobody’s sure which one he’ll prioritize, but it could have a significant impact on the starting lineup for Burnley. We’ll probably know for sure one hour before kickoff tomorrow.
Burnley will be without Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Ashley Barnes, and Matthew Lowton for this match, according to manager Sean Dyche.
