Hi, Hoddlers!

Today we have former Tottenham midfielder Nick Barmby, and a new section below the ramble. I’m calling it Programming Alert, where I’ll be notifying you of the old football matches and shows that will be on television in the United States.

Ramble of the Day

Yesterday was Giovani Lo Celso’s birthday. I hope he enjoyed it, especially with that sweet treat he had to celebrate.

Like probably a few of you, I really didn’t know what was in front of him. I brought it to the Cartilage Free Captain writers’ room, where a couple of us agreed that it probably tasted decent but still couldn’t figure out what it was (though there was a suggestion of a play on tiramisu). My younger sister, being logical, did a quick Google of desserts from Argentina and I think we came up with the answer: chocotorta.

Based on the above description and picture, that seems to tick the boxes on what Lo Celso has sitting in front of him: I can see the cookies, the chocolate, and the rest of it definitely passes for a combination of dulce de leche and cream cheese. I’ve since read the recipe, and it sounds pretty tasty.

Now that we’ve solved that mystery, I suppose it’s time to move on to Lo Celso’s hoodie-short sleeve t-shirt combination from Balmain, on sale for $310.78!

tl;dr: We solved the case of Giovani Lo Celso’s birthday cake!
