SBN Kit Week: Vote for your overall best (and worst) Tottenham kits

You voted. Now you get to decide.

Kit Week is coming to a close at SB Nation, and you’ve now been able to vote for your favorite (and least favorite) home, away, and third kits. It’s time now to have one final vote — what is Cartilage Free Captain’s overall favorite and least favorite kit?

Best Tottenham Hotspur kit

You know what’s interesting here? Under Armor had a clean sweep in the favorites category — all three of this community’s all-time favorite kits came from one manufacturer, and two consecutive years. (Recency bias? Perhaps.)

Home — 2015-16 “Sash” (Under Armor)

Oh yeah. And the vote wasn’t even especially close, beating out the 2012-13 Aurasma and 2011-12 Investec home kits by a pretty substantial margin. All hail the Sash, haters!

Away — 2016-17 (Under Armor)

Only ten votes separated this kit, the last away kit made by Under Armor, and the 2017-18 blue aways, the first ones made by Nike.

Third — 2015-16 “Spurple” (Under Armor)

There wasn’t a single vote that was more lopsided than this one. Spurple wins in a landslide, with this year’s cyan kits coming in a (very) distant second.

Worst Tottenham Kit of All Time

Home — 2018-19 “Cummerbund” (Nike)

We only gave you two choices so we shouldn’t be surprised that this came out on top by 100 votes, but yikes, those blue gradient home kits were baaaaaaaaaad.

Away — 2015-16 cyan (AIA)

This wasn’t a runaway victory — just 40 votes between this kit (which I personally love) and the 2014-15 “Roadkill” aways. I like to think of the gradated stripes as an arrow pointing towards the handsomeness of Son Heung-Min. The rest of you... well, you hated it. Fair.

Third — 2006-2007 “S—t brown” (Puma)

With these kits you either love them or hate them. There’s zero in between. Most people hated them as they nearly doubled the votes over the “Halfsies” Under Armor kits.
