It might feel like salt poured into an open wound for some Tottenham Hotspur fans, but this morning Amazon dropped the first teaser for its upcoming sports documentary on Spurs’ 2019-20 season, titled “All or Nothing.” And as expected, it’s already playing up the drama.
Here’s the teaser, as posted on Twitter.

The teaser zooms in on the sacking of Mauricio Pochettino and subsequent hiring of Jose Mourinho in November and features close-ups of Harry Kane, Christian Eriksen, Dele, Eric Dier, and a 1/4” shot of Daniel Levy, as though the producers were afraid showing the Spurs chairman on the screen would be enough to induce Spurs fans to throw their remotes at their TVs in a fit of rage. The teaser ends with a tracking shot from behind of an unnamed Jose Mourinho walking into Spurs’ training ground.
There’s certainly going to be no shortage of drama or narrative angles to capture in this documentary, between Pochettino’s underachieving, his sacking, Mourinho’s appointment, the Christian Eriksen and Toby Alderweireld transfer sagas, and COVID-19.
But for Spurs fans it also looks like it could be like watching a slow-moving train wreck. This could be a fantastic documentary. It could also be extremely painful to watch if you’re a Tottenham fan. Amazon did not put a release date on the teaser, saying instead that it’s “coming soon.”
