The news keeps dropping for Tottenham Hotspur on this Monday morning. The latest report is an official transfer — the club has announced that 19-year old academy graduate and central midfielder Armando Shashoua is heading to the Spanish third division, joining Atletico Baleares on a permanent transfer.
We have reached agreement with Atlético Baleares for the permanent transfer of Armando Shashoua.

All the best for the future, Armando! #THFC ⚪️ #COYS pic.twitter.com/tXsxNjJITW
Armando spent the spring at Baleares this past season, making four appearances. He’s 19 and apparently the Spanish third division is his level. Four appearances for Baleares isn’t a lot to go on, but obviously the management saw enough in his ability and potential to take him permanently.
I have zero strong takes on Armando Shashoua. His name was one that popped up periodically while he was a youngster at Spurs, but it was clear pretty early on that he wasn’t going to crack the first team at Tottenham Hotspur, and so selling him makes sense. I hope he has a long and successful career in professional football, both at Atletico Baleares and wherever he may end up afterwards.
