GALLERY: Tottenham Hotspur players return for first day of preseason training

It’s a quiet day on the Tottenham Hotspur front. There haven’t been any major news drops, announcements of new signings or loans incoming or outgoing, or even any juicy credible rumors, which is unusual.

But Wednesday did bring one new thing — Tottenham Hotspur officially returned to preseason training, and the club released a boatload of new training photos. That means we get our first real look at new signings Pierre Hojbjerg and Joe Hart, and a lot of shots of players training in this year’s pink Nike training gear.

Based on who was featured in the photographs, not everyone has reported back for duty yet, and that’s to be expected. A bunch of players like Harry Kane, Dele, Giovani Lo Celso, Erik Lamela, Toby Alderweireld, Eric Dier, etc. either still have yet to report back for training or weren’t photographed in this first day of preseason. Still, we get looks at not only the goalkeeping corps and Hojbjerg, but also Son Heung-Min, Harry Winks, and Ben Davies.

So on a day when there’s not a lot to talk about, let’s instead look at photos of our players and comment on how handsome they all are and how their good looks will propel Spurs to the Premier League title this season. Okay? Okay.
