The last time there was a Champions League final, Tottenham Hotspur were playing in it. It may not have ended the way we had hoped it would, but it was still a pretty exciting thing to experience.

This year is different. The coronavirus pandemic meant that there was a large break in the middle of the knockout rounds of the competition. When it resumed, it was in a different format — a single-elimination knockout tournament at a neutral site. In a lot of ways, it’s been more fun, but that’s speaking as a neutral.

Today is the final — Paris St. Germain vs. Bayern Munich. I assume that many of you will be watching it. This is your place to talk about it. And dream about how Tottenham might, some day, get back there.
