Hey, everyone!
I have a couple of quick discussion items today, the first this: Matt Doherty looks a lot like Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, no?
Ramble of the Day
This may be a question mostly for American Hoddlers, but it is worth an ask since I imagine a few of us dealt with NBC new streaming service, Peacock, over the weekend: How many devices did you use to watch football over the weekend?
I used four:
- TV: Premier League, NWSL, MLS
- Laptop: NWSL, FAWSL
- Kindle: MLS
- Playstation: Premier League via Peacock, MLS via ESPN+
I don’t think I thought about how many devices watching as many matches as I liked required until I was figuring out how I would watch Tottenham yesterday. I think I’ve become desensitized to the whole experience for the most part — I remember saying at some point over the weekend, “Looks like all of our devices do come in handy” — but now all I can think about is the idea of a cable package.
tl;dr: Watching football (and loads of other things) requires too many devices.
