More unconfirmed rumors, this time about Tottenham Hotspur’s young striker Troy Parrott from Evening Standard correspondent Dan Kilpatrick. “Dank P” writes on Twitter that Spurs are ready to recall Parrott from his loan at the Championship club, and immediately loan him back out down a division in League One, with Ipswich.

Parrott’s Championship loan didn’t go as everyone expected. He was hampered by an early injury that set him back, but since his return he’s played in nine games and hasn’t impressed in really any of them. It doesn’t help that Millwall aren’t very good this season and are playing tactics that don’t really suit Parrott under Gary Rowett.
Ipswich Town is an interesting choice. Yes, it’s down a division in League One, but that might be what’s needed to get Parrott’s confidence back. Maybe he just wasn’t ready for Championship football, or maybe he just needs a change of scenery and a league where he can more easily bang in goals. Who knows.
As always we wait for confirmation from the club, but this would be an interesting deadline day move.
