Report: Tottenham do not plan on any more deadline day business

Hey, remember all those articles I wrote earlier this morning about the possibility of more players coming into, or out of, Tottenham Hotspur?

Yeah, maybe we can forget about all that now. Here’s Dan Kilpatrick from the Evening Standard.

It sure looks like it’s going to be quiet for the rest of the day here in the Transfer Reporting Office at Cartilage Free Towers. There were rumors that Paulo Gazzaniga could be heading to Elche in La Liga on loan and I was getting set to write that, but that seems to be a bust too. No Dele out, no Christian Eriksen in. It’s five-by-five at Tottenham today.

Now, we’re going to keep tracking the rumors, because hope is a thing with (cockerel) feathers and I will always keep a part of my heart open for the odd van der Vaart type of signing. But otherwise, it sure does look like my day is going to be a little less frantic than I expected.
