Earlier today, we wrote up a story regarding Gedson being recalled and shipped off to Turkish side Galatasaray. The only report we had was from Turkish media, so it’s a total crap shoot regarding accuracy but it seems that this is one of those rare times that they got it right.
Gedson being recalled is no surprise. Given Spurs were over the threshold of foreign players, he was an easy target to cull the squad a bit and give Spurs a little room. They’re still over that limit and while they’ve tried to move on other players including Paulo Gazzaniga, this may be it for the January window. Spurs’ midfield is still very well stocked and given Daniel Levy’s refusal to rubber stamp a Dele move to PSG, it’s going to stay that way.
