Who could’ve possibly seen this coming, apart from everyone? Tottenham Hotspur played a high press and attacked Manchester United in the first half and ended up ahead at the break thanks to a Son Heung-Min shot at the back post. But everything changed in the second period — Spurs came out listless, giving up possession to United and trying to absorb pressure with an already shaky defense, conceded three times to Fred, Edinson Cavani, and Mason Greenwood, and lost at home, the final score 1-3.
Do you have thoughts about this match? I bet you do! Let’s rate the players (and the manager. Especially the manager).
Rate the players from 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player doesn’t deserve a rating due to minutes played, DO NOT RANK. I will round the stars up/down to the nearest half-star for the player ratings later this week.
