Tottenham Hotspur still have a few matches to go this season but it appears they’re ready to get the contract signings in motion, starting with the youth academy.
The club has announced that four youth players have signed their first professional contracts via Twitter:

Congratulations, lads! #THFC ⚪️ #COYS
Matthew and Michael Craig are central midfielders and twin brothers, both having come up the ranks of the academy and played with our U-16s. Dermi Lusala is a fullback who grew up in Edmonton, England and has been with the club for a short time, having started with Brentford and moved to Chelsea before landing at Tottenham Hotspur. Romaine Mundle also grew up in Edmonton and played for our U-16s with the Craig brothers. He is an attacking midfielder and is considered a good assist man.
While none of these players are expected to make an impact on the senior squad anytime soon, it’s always great to see academy players sign their first pro contracts and look to take the next step. We all watch the transfer market as closely as possible each summer and winter, but catching lightning in a bottle with an academy player is truly exciting when it happens.
Congratulations to them and we look forward to seeing what they bring to the higher ranks of the youth side.
