Hey, everyone!
Today’s the first day in a little while without the Euros or Copa América. How will we cope?
Ramble of the Day
I would like to say there is officially a list of footballers’ significant others appearing on Big Brother. It may be a short list, but I think two can count as a list: after Jamie O’Hara’s now ex-wife Danielle Lloyd appeared on the fifth season of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK, Marley Biyendolo, boyfriend of the North Carolina Courage’s Lynn Williams, is currently competing on the 13th season of Big Brother Australia.
I have not been following too closely, but took the time to search Big Brother Australia’s Twitter account for some information. Marley is one of the last four contestants remaining as things stand, and seems pretty nice. He’s on the show to win money to take care of his father after his mother died, and seems like a nice and earnest guy. There’s more than one emotion video of Marley on the Big Brother Australia Twitter account, but here’s the introduction.

Like I mention, I haven’t been following along closely so my impressions of Marley may not wholly accurate to anyone who has seen the whole season so far. (Maybe it’s a long shot, but if you have, please share your thoughts!) He seems not to cause too much drama, but he did seem to turn on a friend within the span of a few days. Let’s start with a video celebrating his friendship with Sid Pattni from June 9.

Sid admitted that their relationship was complicated at times, and by this video posted on June 15, it was seemingly over. It looks like the fault might be Sid’s, though.
Danny and Marley are out for revenge, and they have their sights set on one person. Will Sid survive? #BBAU pic.twitter.com/6KccLOIZ80

It looks like Marley won that battle, because Sid has been evicted. It’s not the only time he has conspired to get someone else evicted, and others have done the same to him (with little success, obviously). I’ve never seen an episode of Big Brother in any country so I could be wrong, but I imagine that’s a natural part of the game.
He seems like he brings limited conflict to the show, and that’s probably a best case scenario for anyone ending up on any reality television show. Without question, it’s better than having a lengthy Wikipedia page dedicated to your racist abuse of a fellow contestant like Lloyd does.
tl;dr: Lynn Williams’ boyfriend is on Big Brother Australia and is one of the last four left, and seems to cause little conflict.
