Hey, remember when Oliver Skipp went on loan to Norwich last season and dominated the Championship, helping lead the Canaries to the title and automatic promotion, but managed to break his foot on the day Norwich clinched, leading to surgery?
Yeah, that all happened. But there’s good news — Skippy is back! Tottenham Hotspur released a training video of Skipp back on the training pitch for the first time after rehabilitating from his surgery, and it’s lovely to see him out there

Early days, of course, but the video shows him doing lateral movement without any sort of obvious foot or ankle brace, as well as both contact and on the ball drills. I’m sure he’s taking it easy in his recovery, but the fact that he’s already in what looks like full training is a really, really good sign that he’ll be something close to fit by the start of the new Premier League season.
There’s already been reporting that Nuno Espirito Santo will be keeping ahold of Skippy as well as Ryan Sessegnon, and that neither one will be heading out on loan this year. I’m excited to see what they both can do at the Premier League level this season.
