Tottenham Hotspur are riding a high this week after opening up the Premier League season with a 1-0 victory over Manchester City. The Harry Kane saga continues to be as dumb as it is infuriating, but Spurs have some business to take care of regarding qualification in the Europa Conference League.
Spurs have travelled to Portugal to take on Pacos de Ferreira in the first leg of the playoff. Nuno Espirito Santo has opted to rotate heavily against the Portuguese side who finished fifth last season in the Primeira Liga. Santo confirmed that none of the starters from Sunday’s victory would take part and most were left in England. We’ll see what he has in store for this match before the return leg next week.
If you live in the United States, there does not appear to be a (legal) way of watching this match. Paramount+ does not have it listed so you may be resigned to Twitter updates or just following the comments here. There is also a radio feed for most matches at tottenhamhotspur.com. Since we can’t watch it, there will not be a live blog.
