Tottenham 1-2 Aston Villa: Community Player Ratings

Getting football’d sucks.

Ange Postecolgou, faced with an injury crisis and without the majority of his best players, decided to go for it today. And it nearly worked! Tottenham went ahead from Giovani Lo Celso’s first half strike, hit the post twice and had a hat trick of goals called back for offside at home today against Aston Villa. They were comfortably the better side against the Villains, but still lost the match 1-2, Spurs’ third straight league loss after going unbeaten in their first ten.

It sucks. But there are still plenty of positives to take away from that performance. It’s time to rate the players.

Rate the players from 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player doesn’t deserve a rating due to minutes played, DO NOT RANK. I will round the stars up/down to the nearest half-star for the player ratings later this week.
