Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Everton: Community Player Ratings

In my pre-match interview with Royal Blue Mersey, I predicted a 2-1 Spurs win. I was accurate, but that was NOT how I imagined it happening. Spurs raced out to a 2-0 first half lead thanks to goals from Richarlison and Son Heung-Min, then hung on from a furious Everton rally to win 2-1. Andre Gomes, in his first Everton appearance since May of 2022, scored Everton’s only goal.

I expected a nervy match that was more difficult than many expected and that’s exactly what we got. Along the way we had some good performances, and some not-so-good ones as well. It’ll be an interesting match to rate.

Spurs will have a merry Christmas indeed, as they’ll spend it in the top four. It’s time to rate the players.

Rate the players from 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player doesn’t deserve a rating due to minutes played, DO NOT RANK. I will round the stars up/down to the nearest half-star for the player ratings later this week.
