Team news is out ahead of this weekend’s Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham at the London Stadium, and for once there’s actually some good news! Spurs have announced that midfielders Mousa Dembele and Christian Eriksen are both back after the international break and available for selection.

That’s wonderful news. Spurs’ offense just hasn’t been the same without the creativity that Eriksen and Dele Alli bring to the side, and while Spurs managed to weather the storm (at least in the league) having Eriksen and Dembele back is a huge boost.
Speaking of Dele, there’s some good news regarding him too. While he’s not going to be back for this weekend, Spurs announced he’s likely to return to training next week. There were also updates on Danny Rose and Jan Vertonghen.

Danny Rose (groin) - progressing with his rehabilitation.
@JanVertonghen (hamstring) - continuing his recovery and remains unavailable. pic.twitter.com/eYlQAGwDQU
That gives Dele a very outside chance of being available for the midweek must-win Champions League match against PSV, but my guess is that he’s most likely to return for Manchester City a week from Monday.
Interestingly no mention was made of Serge Aurier, but considering he just played at least 90 minutes for Ivory Coast in two African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Central African Republic. My guess is that he’s available for selection if Pochettino wants to do so.
