Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose was substituted in the 82nd minute of the North London Derby against Arsenal, and the club still aren't letting us know what happened to him. What they do want us to know, however, is that he's a doubt for Thursday's UEFA Europa League match against Besiktas. Here's what they said in a release on the club website.
Danny Rose is a doubt for tomorrow's Europa League Group C clash against Besiktas. The full-back was substituted after treatment in the 82nd minute of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Arsenal.
If you have a glance around the internets, it seems no one else knows what's wrong with Rose either. It's being widely referred to as an unspecified knock.
Ultimately, this isn't relevant to the Europa League match. There's a good chance Rose would have made the 18-man squad, but it's highly unlikely he would have started. Ben Davies is going to get another chance, and Rose played well enough against Arsenal that he's probably still first choice in the league.
Come Friday, we'll probably learn more about Rose, when he's either declared fit or out for the Premier League game against Southampton.
