Aaron Lennon and Etienne Capoue's availability for Tottenham Hotspur's match against Aston VIlla are in doubt. Both are dealing with injuries and Mauricio Pochettino isn't sure if either will be able to play on Sunday.
"At the moment they are both doubts and we’ll see how they recover in the next few days," Pochettino told the official site.
Lennon played well in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday. He was lively and, even if his touch wasn't always great, caused a lot of problems for the Brighton defense. Unfortunately, he picked up a hamstring injury and had to go off at halftime.
Capoue has been dealing with a knee injury. While he got off to a brilliant start to the season, he's tailed off some late, possibly because of the knee. Spurs wouldn't be too bothered if he missed out against Villa because Benjamin Stambouli has been playing so well and could step in just fine.
