Tottenham Hotspur won't have to worry about Diego Costa when they take on Chelsea. The Blues' striker will be suspended for Wednesday's match after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
On one hand, if you're Chelsea it's frustrating to lose Costa. On the other hand, he's managed five yellow cards in just 11 Premier League matches and could have been sent off twice against Sunderland so the single yellow card isn't really that bad. Maybe if he would stop being such a hot tempered idiot who crosses the line to dirty so often then he wouldn't get suspended.
With Costa out, Chelsea will likely turn to Loic Remy, although Didier Drogba is also an option. The two are plenty fine enough, but they're sure as hell not as good as Costa. Tottenham have caught a break with Costa's suspension, and hopefully they can now focus on containing Eden Hazard, Oscar and the rest of the crew. Playing Chelsea always figured to be three points dropped, but maybe this will be enough to give Spurs a shot at a result.
