The team news release over at the official Tottenham Hotspur website was a short one today, mostly because there isn't a whole lot to report. Amazingly, it seems like everyone is fit to play. The only injury concern is Andros Townsend, and Mauricio Pochettino says he's just fine.
"Andros is fully fit and maybe has an opportunity to play. Everyone else is okay, the squad is fit."
By "everyone else is okay", he means everyone else that is not Kyle Walker, who is this season's dude who's going to spend the whole season injured and keep us wondering what if. He follows in the footsteps of Younes Kaboul and Sandro in claiming the Ledley King Memorial Trophy.
Nottingham Forest are looking like promotion favorites at the moment and have a pretty good squad, so Spurs can't throw out a bunch of youth teamers and expect to get a result on Wednesday. However, we'll probably see a team that's closer to a Europa League XI than a Premier League one. Hopefully they do better than the squad who struggled against Partizan on Thursday.
