Nathan Oduwa leaves Spurs on loan until end of season

One of Tottenham Hotspur's most promising kids is leaving the club on loan for the rest of the season. Nathan Oduwa will join Luton Town until the summer, giving the 18-year-old a chance to get some matches in for the next four months.

Luton Town are currently fourth in League Two, which would put them in the promotion playoffs, but they are just three points out of third with a match in hand so they have some very important matches to close the season. That will be great experience for Oduwa.

Oduwa plays forward, either on the left or in the middle, and has scored goals at every age level for Spurs, all the way up to the U-21s. He's been a part of the England U-18 team, too, and has drawn rave reviews for his play there.

Oduwa appears to have a pretty bright future and that means a bunch of loans coming up so he can play matches and continue to grow. Remember, Harry Kane went on loan to Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City before sticking with Tottenham and while nobody is calling Oduwa the next Kane, it is clear how Spurs will look to develop players.
