DeAndre Yedlin has been linked to a number of European giants since his impressive World Cup performance for the United States, with Tottenham Hotspur being the latest to enter the mix. ESPN's Taylor Twellman called Spurs the favorites to land Yedlin on Wednesday, but the player himself isn't saying anything.
"Nothing is really finalized yet. I'm waiting, letting my agency handle it," Yedlin told the Seattle Times.
This is consistent with what he's said throughout this process, over the last month. Every time Yedlin has been asked about a potential move, he's said that he's letting his representatives handle his move and that he's not going to hear anything until it comes time to make a final decision.
Yedlin's agents know what he's interested in and not interested in, and any deal is likely to keep him in Seattle through the end of the MLS season. This means he doesn't need to be informed every step of the way, which is probably good for him in the career he has left with the Sounders. He's been smarter and more mature
