Tottenham Hotspur have had some bad luck with fullbacks the last couple of seasons, but with both flanks having been reinforced this summer, Kyle Naughton may find himself out of favor. The former Sheffield United player has been linked with several clubs over the summer, but Swansea City have been most dogged in their pursuit.

Speaking to the media, Swansea City manager Gary Monk said that his side are definitely interested in Naughton.

We are looking at him (Naughton), but we're looking at a number of players. We're talking about a player who's with another club, so I don't want to disrespect anyone.

At just 25 years old, Naughton has plenty of football left to play. His ability to play both left and right back would be a great asset for any team. It's unclear whether Swansea would want Naughton to play in his preferred right back position ahead of the aging Angel Rangel or on the left as a back up to Neil Taylor. One thing is for certain though, the Swans could definitely use the depth that Naughton provides.
