Spurs ready to let one centerback leave

Tottenham Hotspur are going to let either Younes Kaboul or Vlad Chiriches leave before the transfer deadline slams shut, according to Sky Sports News. Both are out of favor at centerback and while they can't let both go in case injury forces them to dig deeper on their roster, they are prepared to jettison one.

As of now, it is unclear whether Spurs will sell one of the two or just let the player go on loan. Clubs from all around Europe have been linked to the two since the summer and have continued to be in the mix for both players.

If Tottenham had a choice of which player to lose, one would have to think that they would let Kaboul walk. He is the club captain, but he hasn't been a part of the first team for a while and doesn't even look to be in the mix. Chiriches isn't in the first team either, but he has emerged as the top backup to Kyle Walker at right back so he has a place in the team. If he leaves, DeAndre Yedlin is the second choice right back, which may be a little much for him at this point.
