In the span of about six hours, Dele Alli's move to Tottenham Hotspur has gone from rumored interest, to Spurs are favorites and now, to nearly done. At least that's the latest report, which has Tottenham wrapping up the deal and just needing to finish up the paperwork to make it official.

Alli will sign for Spurs, then immediately be loaned back to MK Dons for the remainder of the season.

This looks to be a pretty fantastic signing for Spurs, who would be nabbing a very highly rated 18-year-old Englishman for a reasonable £5 million. Alli has been good for MK Dons and plays for England's U-19 team. Ranked as one of the top young central midfielders in the country, he is extremely mobile, strong and versatile, perfectly fitting Mauricio Pochettino's pressing system.

Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Newcastle and Aston Villa all showed varying levels of interest in Alli, but Tottenham appear to have gotten him. Huzzah!
