Kevin Mirallas will not be joining Tottenham Hotspur. Mauricio Pochettino likes the Everton midfielder and reached out, trying to bring him to Spurs, but the Toffees have decided that they will not sell.
Everton have just confirmed to me that Kevin Mirallas will not be going to Spurs and Adnan Januzaj will not arrive on loan #EFC #THFC #MUFC

Spurs' midfield has been problematic all season and Mirallas would have been a nice boost. He's hardly a dominant, incredible player, but he would make the Tottenham midfield better and would put them in a good position to finish in the top four.
It's not a huge surprise that Mirallas isn't making a move. Roberto Martinez likes him and the Toffees are too near the drop zone to just send players off. While Spurs have shown interest in him, it's not as if they have put any bids on him either, so landing Mirallas was always a bit optimistic. Now we know it won't happen.
