Etienne Capoue is in demand and, given his outsider status with Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino's first team, the focus of significant interest this window. Already linked to several La Liga teams and West Brom, Capoue has apparently been the subject of a late Leicester City inquiry.
According to the Leicester Mercury, the bottom dwelling Premier league club asked Tottenham about his availability earlier in the window, and have renewed their interest once again. Leicester are perhaps unlucky to be sitting on 17 points, but there is no doubt that players of Capoue's talent level would be a boost to a squad searching for a reason to believe they can survive a relegation scrap.
Capoue looks to be one of the more in demand players in our squad and he has been on the outside looking in. That there is no shortage of interest from clubs bodes well for a transfer fee if Daniel Levy decides to move him on. As for Capoue, he was the subject of interest from La Liga earlier in the week, West Brom earlier today, and now the Foxes. He should hope he gets sold soon before the level of team interested drops any further.
