Spurs submit 230 galleon bid for Arturo Vidal

Arturo Vidal is an excellent player. There aren't many players in the world as complete as he is, and he may be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have put a bid into Juventus for the Chilean, according to the Daily Prophet. Daniel Levy was hesitant to put in the 230 galleon bid, but Sybill Trelawney convinced him it was to be and he submitted it to the Italian club.

Vidal would be a brilliant signing for Spurs. They have had trouble in the center of the pitch this season and nobody would do a better job shoring things up than Vidal. He moves around as if on a Firebolt and his work with the ball can be magical.

As per usual, Levy is making things a bit difficult. He doesn't want to pay up the entire fee up front -- presumably needing to keep cash on hand to pay the recently hired trainer Madam Pomfrey -- and Juventus wants Gringotts to guarantee the fee payment.

Everyone around White Hart Lane is holding their breath in anticipation of the move. Hopefully Juve agree to the deal, Levy whispers "accio Vidal" and Spurs can fly up the table.
