Transfer rumors are just the best. Today's rumor comes courtesy of Danish sports journalist Michael Qureshi on Twitter, who reports that Juventus have had a bid rejected for Christian Eriksen.
Juventus bid on £16,5 mio for Christian Eriksen rejected. Tottenham wants £35 mio. Dont think deal will happen http://t.co/cjJgwdrBOq

I'm not shocked that there are other clubs feeling out Christian Eriksen. I would too. Eriksen is a crucial part of Tottenham's offense, but his worth to Spurs is probably higher than most other clubs are willing to pay. Eriksen is good enough that Spurs should feel comfortable in demanding a huge fee for him, but not so good that he's attracting interest from the likes of Barcelona, Bayern, or Real Madrid.
That puts Spurs in the driver's seat when it comes to negotiations and means that any club like Juventus that wants Eriksen will have to pay through the nose. Protip: £35m for Christian Eriksen is paying through the nose.
I don't think we have too much to worry about when it comes to the possibility of losing Eriksen. If he has a banner year with Tottenham this season, then maybe next summer we'll have cause to worry. But not yet.
