It's another loan deal done and dusted! As we reported yesterday, West Bromwich Albion and Tottenham Hotspur both announced via social media that attacking midfielder Alex Pritchard will be heading to the Hawthornes on a half-season loan deal.

Apparently Pritch wanted to stay in the Premier League after all! Earlier reports had him going to the Championship for a half-season loan in order to get matches under his belt after an injury-shortened season. Pritch was supposed to be an important contributor for Tottenham this year as a backup to Christian Eriksen but injured his ankle in the U21 Euros this summer and eventually needed surgery. He's healthy now but has very little chance of getting "Poch fit" enough to break through into Tottenham's first team plays. But Poch still really likes him, so he'll head to the Midlands on loan to get matches, and hopefully he'll be able to contribute to Spurs next season.
Many Spurs fans on social media are aghast that we would loan any player to West Brom after this summer's kerfluffle with WBA chairman Jeremy Peace over Saido Berahino, but this is just business. There are Twitter murmurs that Pritch might slot directly into the starting lineup for the Baggies against Swansea tomorrow.
All that is missing the most important point, though: LOOK AT PRITCHARD'S BEARD!!
