According to Pete O'Rourke, goalkeeper Pau Lopez is coming to Tottenham Hotspur. He says it'll be a loan, and it's a done deal.

There's no word yet on whether or not that loan has a purchase clause, whether that be compulsory, optional or non-existent. We'll know more soon as more detailed reports come out.
Rumors of Spurs' pursuit of Lopez amped up once Hugo Lloris went down with an injury, but that's probably not the reason they're making this deal. Lopez is 21 years old, has impressed for Espanyol, played for the Spain Under-21 side last spring and was an unused substitute in a senior international for La Roja. He's a big prospect who could replace Michel Vorm as the backup/cup goalkeeper in the very immediate future, should Vorm decide to move on this summer.
Stay tuned for more details.
